Months The year is divided into twelve months,
beginning with January and ending with December

English sentences using months of the year:

  • Christmas falls in the month of December.

  • November has many firework parties.
  • Kevin and Sally are getting married in January.
  • Valentine’s Day is the 14th of February.

The months can be 28, 29, 30 or 31 days long:

  • 30 days hath September, April, June and November. All the rest have 31 except February that has 28 days apart from in a leap year when it has 29 days.
