Sums using coins:

An orange costs 10p, An apple costs 5p, A banana costs 8p, A peach costs 2p

Question – David wants to buy an apple and an orange. How much will it cost?
Orange + Apple = 10p + 5p = 15p

Question – Julie has 10p. How many peaches can she buy?
Peach = 2p each. 10p / 2p = 5 peaches

Question – Sheila and Fred would like a banana each. How much will it cost?
Banana + Banana = 8p + 8p = 16p
